My past blogs have made me more aware of how my meat consumption is affecting the environment, so this week I decided to be vegan to see what it was like.
I really enjoyed some aspects of this week. For example, I liked having oat milk in my coffee, I loved Quorn nuggets and I enjoyed making dinner using this vegan cookbook.

Despite this, there still aren’t enough tempting vegan alternatives to lure me away from my meat-eating diet completely. However, it has inspired me to limit my beef and dairy consumption significantly. I've learnt that personal action really does matter and I will leave you with this poster to explain how even a small reduction in everyone's meat consumption (especially beef) could make a world of difference.
